We had a wonderful stay. Everything was fresh and clean. The staff was amazing and there is plenty of food and things to do near by. It's also safe while traveling alone.

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott was already great, but Colby truly made it exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure my family felt comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of. His professionalism and positive attitude stood out right away, and he handled everything with patience and genuine kindness. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but Colby made the experience smooth and enjoyable. He anticipated what we might need, checked in to make sure we were doing well, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. They don’t offer valet service for cars, but honestly, I feel like if I had asked, Colby would have found a way to make it happen anyway! That’s just the kind of above-and-beyond service he provided the entire time. If they did have valet, he definitely would have earned a $50 tip from me. People like Colby are what make a hotel stay memorable. Marriott is lucky to have someone like him representing their brand. Thank you for making our family’s stay such a great experience!
I've stayed here a few trips now and have been pleased. The staff are helpful and friendly and you can't go wrong with the breakfast if you won't want to venture out. Rooms are well sized and the beds are pretty comfortable too. Pretty close to everything we wanted to do, between a stop at the mall, amd down to activities in Canal Park
Overall stay was great! The staff were so friendly and kind! We checked in late but we’re greeted with a warm smile! St breakfast, one of the staff members cleaning was also asking guests how their meals were and if they could get anyone anything! Wow, great job Fairfield! The breakfast quiche was so delicious!I had to get 2! Warm, fluffy, little cheese and perfect size!
We stayed her for a hockey tournament in hermantown and I would and will definitely use this hotel again. Many times when hockey teams come in hotels are all rude and not accommodating but this hotel was by far the best one I’ve been at and I’ve been at a lot of hotels in Duluth. Great service, super nice staff, team room, a right by the mall.
One of the better hotels we've stayed at in a long time. Updated and clean rooms. Nice shower and bathroom. Great lobby area.
This is a great spot in Hermantown. I think the highlight of this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly and greet you as you walk by. They definitely seem to care about Service. The rooms are nice and updated. There was some black stuff in the shower, mold? I wish that there was a way to sit and watch TV without having to sit in the bed, but I guess that’s somewhat common. I thought the breakfast was decent definitely not great, but I didn’t expect it to be great. Good location very quiet. The digital key was a nice add
